We’re opening a Therapy Partners satellite clinic near Aylsham, Norfolk. We offer Family Therapy, Couples Therapy & Marriage Guidance, and Systemic Clinical Supervision. Sessions are led by Annette Howes, a UKCP‑registered Systemic Child & Family Psychotherapist and qualified Systemic Supervisor with 30+ years of NHS experience across mental health and learning disability services.

Availability: Half‑day and full‑day clinic slots.
Formats: In‑person (Aylsham area) and online UK‑wide.

Family Therapy (Children, Adolescents & Adults)
  • Whole‑family sessions or work with individual family members
  • Flexible formats (parents only; siblings; parent–child dyads)
  • Collaborative goal‑setting from the outset
  • Creative, accessible approaches (talking, play, drawing and writing)
  • Inclusive, non‑blaming, strengths‑based; mindful of power dynamics, diversity and access needs

Common themes: communication difficulties, conflict, anxiety and low mood, school avoidance, neurodiversity‑related stress, life transitions, loss and bereavement, relationship ruptures.

 

Couples Therapy & Marriage Guidance
  • Support at any stage (dating, co‑habiting, married, separated co‑parenting)
  • Practical tools for communication, repair, and rebuilding trust
  • Attachment‑ and systems‑informed work focusing on patterns (not blame)
  • Calm, down‑to‑earth, confidential space to move forward together

 

Clinical Supervision (Systemic)
  • Individual and group supervision for systemic practitioners and wider MDT
  • Reflective, ethically grounded practice with attention to context, culture and risk
  • Integrates NVR (Non‑Violent Resistance) principles where helpful

Experience & background
 

Annette qualified in 2007 as a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist. She brings over 30 years of experience across hospital and community settings in mental health and learning disability services. Most recently, she worked as a Systemic Psychotherapist in an NHS CAMHS inpatient hospital before retiring from the NHS to offer independent practice.

 

Therapeutic style

From the outset, she is transparent about goals/expectations, invites feedback, and adapts flexibly to what works for you. Referrals & Funding

Self‑referrals welcome. We also accept referrals from GPs, schools, social care and employers. Insurance/third‑party funding can be discussed on request.

Can you work with us online?
Yes. We offer secure video sessions for families and couples across the UK.

Do you offer evening slots?
A limited number will be available subject to demand.

What is NVR?
Non‑Violent Resistance is an approach that helps caregivers respond to challenging behaviour in ways that reduce escalation and improve relationships.

Is supervision available for non‑systemic clinicians?
Yes. We supervise a range of professionals and tailor the frame to your modality and context.
